Why We Exist.
Studio MikoMi was built on a simple belief: the best photographs begin with understanding.
Before a camera ever comes out, we take the time to listen and understand. Every client has a unique vision, and our goal is to understand what matters most to you so we can create photographs that feel authentic, intentional, and uniquely yours.
The name Studio MikoMi combines my childhood nickname, Mikee, with my son’s name, Miko. After choosing the name, I discovered that mikomi in Japanese can mean “hope” or “possibility.” It was an unexpected reminder of what this business has come to represent.
Photography became my way of creating meaningful connections through creativity and storytelling. Today, Studio MikoMi is a family business built alongside my sister, Cristine. Together, we’re committed to creating an experience where you feel heard, supported, and genuinely excited from our first conversation to your final gallery.
